2005 Mustang GT New Wheels and Tires • WHEEL INFO: Picked up some new wheels and tires. I wanted something new yet trying to keep the retro late '60s early '70s muscle car theme. Also wanted staggared wheel set-up with a lip if possible. Saw some decent wheels at WheelMax.com - AZA Z5s polished silver face and lip. FYI, Chrome was not even a option, no bling for me ;-) WHEEL STATS: Front,18x8.5, Rear 18x9.5, 35mm off-set, 22lbs. • TIRE INFO: Originally wanted BF Goodrich's g-Force T/A KDWs with the NewTread/Flame design, but wheelmax gave me a good package deal with TOYO Proxes T1-S, with aggressive directional tread design. Qucik one sentence review of tires: Good dry and wet grip, does not "tramline" like stock asymmetrical Pirelli PZero Nero's on certain California Freeways but tires are noisy :-( TIRE STATS: Front,255x45x18 94W, Rear 285x40x18 94W (Click on links/pics for large photo)
